HSBC team to target MENAT ESG activity

HSBC has created a dedicated sustainable and transition finance team for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, as the region tries to make its economies more sustainable.

The team, based in Dubai but with representation across all HSBC's nine markets in the MENAT region, will be led by Gareth Thomas, head of global banking in MENAT, and Daniel Howlett, head of commercial banking in the region.
